FAIRFIELD — faculty officers are telling fogeys to agree with riding their youngsters to faculty in preference to having them take the bus to reduce the chances they’d have to quarantine for COVID-19.

“college students may also still should be quarantined if they are recognized as having close contact on the bus, as defined by using the CDC,” said a letter Wednesday from Superintendent Mike Cummings and Angelus Papageorge, the district COVID-19 health and defense compliance liaison.

That tips came on the heels of an announcement the day before that three bus drivers had demonstrated fantastic for COVID-19.

The drivers labored routes at Fairfield Warde excessive college, Roger Ludlowe middle school and Timothy Dwight fundamental faculty, Cummings and Papageorge mentioned.

On Wednesday, the district pronounced three new circumstances of COVID-19 at Fairfield Warde, Holland Hill school and Riverfield elementary school.

“Contact tracing has been demonstrated, and any shut contacts are actually in quarantine. No building closures are indicated,” Wednesday’s letter stated.
