Gov. Lamont pauses all club team sports except Jan. 2021

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — All membership activities can be paused except January as a result of the upward push in COVID-19 cases throughout the state, Governor Ned Lamont announced Thursday.

The governor introduced that every one club and different crew sports must pause all actions except Jan. 19, 2021. It goes into effect on Nov. 23, 2020.

This comes just one day after the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic convention (CIAC) announced a circulate to delay all excessive faculty wintry weather sports unless Jan. 19, 2021.

The governor’s announcement Thursday doesn’t practice to expert or faculty activities.
