Armed theft, photographs fired incident under investigation at the Trumbull Mall

TRUMBULL, CT (WFSB) – Trumbull police are investigating an armed theft on the Trumbull Mall that resulted in photographs being fired.

Trumbull policed noted the armed robbery took region at Zales Jewelers inside the mall. The suspect reportedly stole a number of necklaces.

One shot was fired, but no injuries were said.

Bridgeport police launched counsel that the suspect involved in the incident fled the mall and turned into concerned in a quick pursuit with police. 

The suspect crashed on Anton road in Bridgeport and has no longer surrendered that this time. 

Police have a negotiator on the scene, working to get the suspect out of the vehicle. 

Residents in the area of Anton road are being requested to continue to be in their buildings until police clear the scene. 

Thee Trumbull mall is protected and has been reopened, based on police.
