Stratford schools last all far off through Dec. 7 due to upward thrust in COVID-19 instances statewide, ‘staffing issues’

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Stratford colleges could be moving to all far flung studying through Dec. 7, the superintendent stated Tuesday.

In a letter to parents Tuesday, Superintendent Dr. Janet Robinson said, “even though it has been our intention for the schools closed to transition back to the Hybrid gaining knowledge of model on Monday, November thirtieth, it is with an abundance of warning and staffing issues that all colleges (elementary, center, and high schools) will now lengthen far off studying through December 4th, extending the return to college date to Monday, December 7th.”

Superintendent Robinson pointed to the upward thrust in COVID-19 cases within the area and across the state as the main cause of the exchange.
